Keiko Ikebana Studioは、京都の神社という静かな空間で、嵯峨御流のいけばなを学ぶ教室です。
花や枝の自然な姿をよく観察し、その持ち味をいかしながら、季節の景色をいけていきます。いけばなの技法と日本の美意識を学ぶとともに、今ここに集中して花と向き合い、自分と向き合う時間を大切にしています。
少人数で、一人ひとりの経験やペースに合わせて丁寧に指導します。初めての方にも、花材の扱い方から基本の技法まで、分かりやすくお伝えします。
継続して学ぶレギュラークラス、旅行中などの単発受講向けクラス、ご自身やご家族・ご友人だけで学ぶプライベートクラスをご用意しています。
日本の方も、日本にお住まいの海外出身の方も、ご旅行中の方も、それぞれの目的に合ったクラスでお迎えします。日本語・英語での受講に対応しています。

Bringing flowers into everyday life.
Keiko Ikebana Studio offers classes in Saga Goryu ikebana in the peaceful setting of a Kyoto shrine.
We carefully observe the natural character of flowers and branches, bringing out their qualities to express seasonal landscapes. Alongside ikebana techniques and Japanese aesthetics, we value time to focus on the present, engage with the flowers, and connect with ourselves.
With small class sizes, guidance is tailored to each person’s experience and pace. Beginners receive clear, step-by-step instruction, from handling the materials to learning basic techniques.
We offer Regular Classes for ongoing study, One-off Ikebana Classes for visitors and those unable to attend regularly, and Private Classes for individuals, families, or friends who wish to learn exclusively together.
We welcome Japanese students, international residents, and visitors to Kyoto, with a class to suit each person’s interests and circumstances. Instruction is available in Japanese and English.

京都・近郊にお住まいで、継続していけばなを学びたい方のためのクラスです。継続受講をご検討中の方も、初回のお稽古にご参加いただけます。
For residents of Kyoto and nearby areas who wish to study ikebana on an ongoing basis. Those considering regular study are welcome to attend an initial lesson.

学べること｜What You Will Learn
季節の花や枝の自然な姿を観察し、嵯峨御流の基本の技法、構成や空間の考え方、日本の美意識を少しずつ学びます。今ここに集中して花と向き合い、自分と向き合う時間を大切にしています。
初心者から経験のある方まで、お一人おひとりの経験やペースに合わせて丁寧に指導します。月2回程度の受講をおすすめしていますが、ご自身のペースで続けていただけます。
Through observing the natural character of seasonal flowers and branches, you will gradually learn the basic techniques of Saga Goryu ikebana, composition, the use of space, and Japanese aesthetics. Each lesson offers time to be present with the flowers and attentive to yourself.
Beginners and experienced students are welcome, with guidance adapted to each person’s experience and pace. We recommend attending approximately twice a month, though you are welcome to continue at a pace that suits you.

継続受講を始める際に、教材費3,000円（テキスト・補足資料）を一度のみ頂戴します。
A one-off fee of ¥3,000 for the textbook and supplementary handouts applies when you begin regular study.
12月はお正月花のお稽古となるため、通常料金に加えて花材費2,000〜2,500円を頂戴します。
Classes in December focus on New Year arrangements. An additional flower fee of ¥2,000–¥2,500 applies.
単発いけばなクラス｜One-off Ikebana Class
京都へのご旅行中など、継続して通うことが難しい方のための単発クラスです。初めての方も、いけばなの経験がある方もご参加いただけます。
A one-off class for visitors to Kyoto and those unable to attend regularly. Beginners and those with previous ikebana experience are welcome.

花材の自然な姿の見方、基本の技法、構成や空間の考え方などを、個別に丁寧に指導します。ご希望に応じて、作品を撮影する際の視点もお伝えします。
Whether you are new to ikebana or wish to deepen your understanding of a particular form or technique, the lesson is planned around your interests and experience, allowing you to learn at your own pace.
Individual guidance covers observing the natural character of the materials, practising techniques, and exploring composition and space. If you wish, we can also explore how to photograph your arrangement.

Q.いけばなは初めてでも参加できますか？
はい。レギュラークラスは、いけばなが初めての方にも安心してご参加いただける内容です。
花の扱い方や基本的な考え方から、丁寧にお伝えします。
Q. Can I participate even if I don’t speak Japanese?
Yes. Classes are usually conducted in Japanese, using Japanese textbook, but we proceed with consideration for international residents living in Japan. Explanations can also be given in English when needed, so please feel free to join with confidence.
Q.持ち物は何が必要ですか？
特別な持ち物は必要ありません。
花材・道具はすべてこちらでご用意いたします。
初回は手ぶらでお越しください。
※花バサミとをお持ちの方はご持参ください。
Q.クラスの所要時間はどれくらいですか？
約90～120分です。
花と向き合い、静かに集中する時間を大切にしています。
Q.キャンセルポリシーについて教えてください
本クラスは少人数制で行い、花材は各回ごとに事前に準備しております。
そのため、キャンセルにつきましては以下の点をご理解いただけますと幸いです。

3日前(72時間前)～開催日当日のキャンセル・No Show：受講料の100％を申し受けます。

嵯峨御流とは・・・
京都市右京区にある旧嵯峨御所大本山大覚寺に総司所（本部）を置くいけばなの流派です。日本の自然を写実的にうつしとり、更に美しく花器の中で表現することが大きな特徴です。
平安時代の始め、嵯峨天皇が大覚寺の大沢池で、菊ガ島に咲く菊を手折り殿上の花瓶にいけられました。その姿が「天、地、人」三才の美しさを備えていたことに感動され、「後世花を生くるものは宜しく之を以って範とすべし」とおっしゃいました。これがいけばな嵯峨御流の始まりと伝えられています。
自然の美しさを表現する盛花と瓶花。弓張りの凛とした生花（せいか）。重厚で荘厳な雰囲気を表現する荘厳華。また、いける人の想いや心の動きを表現する心粧華（祈り花・才の花・想い花）。そして2019年、60年に一度の戊戌（ぼじゅつ）の年に発表された新花態「花がさね」。このように、嵯峨御流の花態は多種多様でありどの様な場所にも合うお花をいけることができます。
